Ok then how do you do that? Yeah I know, you obviously searched to get your answer, but we wouldn't know that you were too lazy to search before making a topic about it if you just deleted it though admittedly I do the same thing from time to time. If you make a topic and it only has one post in it, just click "message detail" on that post and click delete post or whatever it says. And poof, the post and therefore the thread is gone.
Now the best you can do is just lock it since there are other posts in it. It'll get locked when it gets archived anyway, so there really isn't a point to that unless you don't want people posting in it for instance if you don't want condescending people like me posting in it.
